About Me

My name is Kathy Johnson. My husband, Marshall, and I have been in Fargo since 2009. We have a daughter, Freya, who was born in 2015. I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy for Massage Therapy in June 2018 and am now a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of North Dakota.

I decided to pursue Massage Therapy in July of 2017. I was having chronic low back issues and after a few chiropractors and an orthopedic surgeon couldn’t figure it out, I was left without any hope for a pain-free life. In early July 2017 I received a 10-minute life changing massage. After that 10-minute massage I squatted pain free for the first time in a couple years. I knew then that I wanted to be able to help people like this Massage Therapist helped me.

Once I started class, I soon realized this is what I was meant to do. Throughout my classes I often thought I should have started this a long time ago. I am grateful for that 10-minute massage, and I am eager to help others the way I was helped.

In February of 2022 I started taking CranioSacral Therapy classes to further help my clients achieve a pain-free lifestyle. I believe that this therapy will help me understand my client’s underlying causes for the symptoms they present. I also started taking these classes so I would be able to work on infants and small children to possibly prevent issues from arising in the future.

Whether it is Massage Therapy or CranioSacral Therapy, I just want to help people achieve a pain-free lifestyle.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a light touch modality that works with your body’s physiological body system called the CranioSacral system. It is made up of cerebrospinal fluid, cranial bones, sacrum, and the dura mater that surrounds the brain, spinal cord, and down to the sacrum. Lightly manipulating the cranial bones and sacrum can help restore the body’s cranial rhythm which in turn has been shown to improve function of the central nervous system. CST also deals with energy cysts. An energy cyst is a pocket of energy that is trapped in the body from a previous injury or trauma. If this energy gets stuck it may need help leaving the body. Emotions can also be attached to energy cysts and can further prevent people from healing. CST is great for people that deal with headaches, migraines, PTSD, stress, anxiety, and depression. It is also great for babies and infants that have latching issues, oral ties, sleeping issues, and so much more! (For current pricing please click book an appointment)
